A near fatal accident at the age of nineteen led Simon to investigate different methods of healing and rejuvenation, a path he has been following ever since. He is a Sydney based master teacher (Laoshi) who has been leading regular classes for beginning and continuing students since 1990. Simon is the author of numerous Books, DVDs and Meditation CDs, as well as a sought-after speaker and workshop/retreat presenter.
Simon has been working for over thirty years to help spread the benefits of meditation, peace and love. He works with many different groups assisting in their development of self-healing skills to manage stress levels and improve quality of life. Simon has arranged and lead thirty Qigong training tours to China to learn from masters at the source. He has won numerous awards for his presentations and demonstrations at international Qigong Conferences in Beijing and Shanghai. In 2004 he was a resident student at the Xiyuan Hospital in Beijing and received certification for clinical practice in Medical Qigong. Simon is initiated into Dragon Gate Daoism under Grand Master Wu Cheng Zhen the Abbess of the Eternal Spring Monastery, Wuhan and given the name of Xin Si meaning Genuine Wisdom. He is an initiated student an authorised teacher of the 28th linage holder Grand Master Chen Chuan Gang of ancient Da Yan - Wild Goose Qigong. He is also a Deputy Secretary of The World Academic Society of Medical Qigong, Beijing China.
